  • Ahmadiyyat or The True Islam

  • 3

By those who range themselves in close ranks.

  • 3

Then they drive away the enemy vigorously.

  • 3

Then they recite the Qur’an as a Reminder.

  • 3

    Surely your God is One.

  • 3

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the sun’s risings

  • 3

We have adorned the lowest heaven with an adornment — the planets

  • 3

And have guarded it against all rebellious satans.

  • Distinctive Features of the Movement

  • 9

And there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent.

  • 26

Verily, We have sent to you a Messenger, who is a witness over you, even as We sent a Messenger to Pharaoh.

  • The First Object of Religion

  • 39

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

  • 42

And if Allah were to punish men for their wrongdoing, He would not leave thereon a living creature.

  • 43

But My mercy encompasses all things.

  • 46

And there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent.

  • 46

And We did raise among every people a Messenger, preaching: ‘Worship Allah and shun the Evil One.’ Then among them were some whom Allah guided and among them were some who became deserving of ruin. So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who treated the Prophets as liars!

  • 48

By Allah, We did send Messengers to the peoples before thee; but Satan made their works appear beautiful to them. So he is their patron this day, and they shall have a grievous punishment.

  • 48

And We have not sent down to thee the Book except that thou mayest explain to them that concerning which they differ, and as a guidance, and a mercy for a people who believe.

  • 49

Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes. And He is the Incomprehensible, the All-Aware.

  • 50

Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things.

  • 50

Who has created death and life that He might try you — which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Most Forgiving.

  • 50

Who has created seven heavens in harmony. No incongruity canst thou see in the creation of the Gracious God. Then look again: Seest thou any flaw?

  • 50

Aye, look again, and yet again, thy sight will only return unto thee confused and fatigued.

  • 51

All praise belongs to Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and brought into being every kind of darkness and light; yet those who disbelieve set up equals to their Lord.

  • 52

And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of whatever living creatures He has spread forth in both. And He has the power to gather them together when He pleases.

  • 52

And whatever misfortune befalls you, is due to what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins.

  • 55

And the weighing on that day will be true. Then as for those whose scales are heavy, it is they who shall prosper.

  • 56

Those of the believers who sit still, excepting the disabled ones, are not equal.

  • 57

Whoso does a good deed shall have ten times as much; but he who does an evil deed, shall have only a like reward; and they shall not be wronged.

  • 60

Say, ‘O People of the Book! come to a word equal between us and you — that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partner with Him, and that some of us take not others for Lords beside Allah.’ But if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we have submitted to God.’

  • 64

Say, if your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your kinsfolk, and the wealth you have acquired, and the trade whose dullness you fear, and the dwellings which you love are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah comes with His judgment; and Allah guides not the disobedient people.

  • 64

Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides.

  • 65

True believers are only those whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned, and when His Signs are recited to them they increase their faith, and who put their trust in their Lord.

  • 66

‘They are means for measuring time for the general good of mankind and for the Pilgrimage.’

  • 66

O ye who believe! take your precautions; then either go forth in separate parties or go forth all together.

  • 66

And furnish yourselves with necessary provisions

  • 67

And the pleasure of Allah is the greatest of all.

  • 68

Allah it is Who has made for you the earth a resting-place, and the heaven a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes perfect, and has provided you with good things. Such is Allah, your Lord. So blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  • 68

He is the Living God. There is no God but He. So pray unto Him, being sincere to Him in religion. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  • 68

Say, ‘I have been forbidden to worship those whom you call upon beside Allah since there have come unto me clear proofs from my Lord; and I have been commanded to submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.’

  • 70

So woe to those who pray.

  • 70

But are unmindful of their Prayer.

  • 70

They like to be seen of men.

  • 70

His case is like the case of a smooth rock covered with earth, on which heavy rain falls, leaving it bare, smooth and hard.

  • 72

That is so. And whoso respects the sacred Signs of Allah — that indeed proceeds from the righteousness of hearts.

  • 72

Nay, but that which they have earned has rusted their hearts.

  • 77

Therefore remember Me, and I will remember you; and be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me.

  • 78

Surely, Prayer restrains one from indecency and manifest evil

  • 78

it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort

  • 80

That you may exalt Allah for His having guided you and that you may be grateful.

  • 81

so that you may become righteous.

  • 85

Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that reaches Him.

  • 91

This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous

  • 92

And whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger of His shall be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings, namely, the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And excellent companions are these.

  • 92

This grace is from Allah, and sufficient is Allah, the All-Knowing.

  • 93

Those who look not for the meeting with Us and are content with the life of this world and feel at rest therewith, and those who are heedless of Our Signs —

  • 93

It is these whose abode is Fire, because of what they earned.

  • 93

But for him who fears to stand before his Lord there are two Gardens —

  • 93

Some faces on that day will be bright,

  • 93

    Looking eagerly towards their Lord.

  • 94

Therefore remember Me, and I will remember you; and be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me.

  • 99

Or, Who answers the distressed person when he calls upon Him, and removes the evil, and makes you successors in the earth? Is there a God besides Allah? Little is it that you reflect.

  • 101

As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying: ‘Fear ye not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the Garden that you were promised.

  • 101

‘We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that your souls will desire, and therein you will have all that you will ask for —

  • 106

By the stemless plant when it falls.

  • 106

Your companion has neither erred, nor has he gone astray

  • 106

Nor does he speak out of his own desire.

  • 106

It is nothing but pure revelation that has been revealed by God.

  • 106

The Lord of mighty powers has taught him

  • 111

Eyes cannot reach Him but He reaches the eyes. And He is the Incomprehensible, the All-Aware.

  • 145

Holy is He and exalted far above what they attribute to Him!

  • The Second Object of Religion

  • 164

    Those who do evil ignorantly.

  • 171

And the recompense of an injury is an injury the like thereof; but whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah. Surely, He loves not the wrongdoers.

  • 173

And that you approach not foul deeds, whether open or secret.

  • 173

And whether you disclose what is in your minds or keep it hidden, Allah will call you to account for it

  • 174

Surely, good works drive away evil works.

  • 174

O ye who believe! be heedful of your own selves. He who goes astray cannot harm you when you yourselves are rightly guided.

  • 175

Surely they are too proud of themselves and have greatly exceeded the bounds.

  • 176

For suspicion in some cases is a sin.

  • 177

But He will call you to account for what your hearts have earned.

  • 177

That He may reward with what is best those who do good.

And if two parties of believers fight against each other, make peace between them; then if after that one of them transgresses against the other, fight the party that transgresses until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returns, make peace between them with equity, and act justly. Verily, Allah loves the just.
