The background to this book is that during the Jalsa Salana of 1906 in the month of December that year, whilst the Promised Messiah^(as) was leading Zuhr Prayer, a Hindu got up and began uttering the most vile obscenities to a crowd of almost 2,000 guests who were praying behind the Promised Messiah. When the Promised Messiah^(as) had completed his Prayers he felt the hearts of his followers to be aggrieved owing to the abuse and comforted them by saying a few words. He highlighted that the Hindus of Qadian were the foremost witnesses of the signs which had been manifested at his hand, as they were the first people to witness them.
