130 HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD وَأَمَّا مَقَامِي فَاعْلَمُوْا أَنَّ خَالِقِيْ يُحَمِّدُنِي مِنْ عَرْشِهِ وَيُوَقِّرُ As for the spiritual station I possess, God praises me from Heaven and bestows honour upon me. لَنَا جَنَّةٌ سُبْلُ الْهُدَى أَزْهَارُهَا نَسِيْمُ الصَّبَا مِنْ شَأْنِهَا تَتَحَيَرُ For me is a Paradise whose flowers serve as its paths of guidance; The elegance of its beauty astonishes even the serene spring breeze. تَكَبَّرَ مَاءُ إلى آخِرِ الْأَيَّامِ لَا تَتَكَدَّرُ السَّابِقِينَ وَعَيْنُنَا The water of the earlier people became soiled, Whereas the water I offer will not become soiled until the Last Days. رَأَيْنَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَذْكُرُوْنَ رُوَاتَكُمْ وَهَلْ مِنْ نُّقُوْلِ عِنْدَ عَيْنٍ تُبَصَّرُ I have witnessed what you have to offer. You speak of [the authenticity of] your narrators; Do you think mere stories have any standing in comparison to the witnessing eye? وَشَتَّانَ مَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ حُسَيْنِكُمْ فَإِنِّي أُؤَيَّدُ كُلَّ آنٍ وَأُنْصَرُ There is a marked difference between me and your Husain, For I am ever supported and helped by Almighty God. إلى هذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ تَبْكُونَ فَانْظُرُوا وَأَمَّا حُسَيْنُ فَاذْكُرُوا دَشْتَ كَرْبَلَا But, so far as Husain is concerned, recall what happened in the desert of Karbala; You still cry over it. You ought to reflect.
