their sins-and who can forgive sins except Allah? - and do not persist knowingly in what they have done. It is these whose reward is forgiveness from their Lord and. Gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they shall abide. Excellent is the reward of those who work righteousness. (3:135-137). DO NOT BRIBE وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إلَى الْحُكَامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا فَرِيقًا مِنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْإِثْمِ. Do not devour each other's wealth among yourselves through falsehood, nor offer your wealth as a bribe to the authorities that you may deliberately devour a part of other people's wealth through injustice. (2:189). BE A TRUE WITNESS يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا كُونُوا قَوْمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَانُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا أَعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ !. O believers! be steadfast in the cause of Allah, bearing witness in equity. Let not a people's enmity towards you incite you to act contrary to justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is aware of what you do. (5:9) 109
