15 he taught us the way he did. He would not let us move until he was satisfied that we had memorized the verses assigned to us. I loved his dedication and style of teaching, and I appreciate it sincerely. Since I have lost the sight in both my eyes, I listen to tapes and try to memorize the Holy Qur’ ā n as much as I can. In the end, I would like to mention that there is none better a person in the world than Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirz ā ā hir A ḥ mad, Fourth Successor to the Promised Messiah. He is extremely sweet. Today, if there is a way to reach the hearts of people, it is through his sermons and speeches. He speaks the truth and his message touches my heart every time I hear him. While I was attending the London Annual Jalsa (convention) this year, during his address, he said something that touched my heart and I could not help but call out, “na‘ra’-i-takb ī r. ” The Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ immediately recognized my voice. The next thing I heard was a very loving comment about me by the Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ. * He named me in the presence of the whole audience, switching abruptly from Urd ū to English. This very unexpected reward by the Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ was something that I thought I did not deserve and began to weep out of joy. I will never be able to forget this great blessing. One thing I must say about the Khal ī fatul-Mas īḥ , that if I had no knowledge of Isl ā m at all, but had heard only one of his sermons, I would have accepted Isl ā m, instantly. May All ā h bless this community. May All ā h shower His immense blessings upon Ḥ a ḍ rat Mu ḥ ammad Mu ṣṭ af ā (May Peace and Blessings be upon him), the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) and his Khulaf ā (Successors).
