Introduction xxxiii contention that he is living in heaven to save mankind are false notions. Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) was a true prophet of God who was given a perfect law. All the good points found in other scriptures are collectively found in Islamic teachings. If any bishop, clergyman or other ecclesiastical authority thinks otherwise let him come forward and refute the arguments of my book, ?. I am always ready to prove my claim and to discuss it in public if any impartial and interested society will arrange it. This is my challenge to the Church. Finally, I would like to express my admiration of the average Englishman who is unbiased and examines everything in the light of reason and wisdom, and does not follow blindly. They are those who will enjoy peace and tranquillity of mind in the end. In the end I would like to quote here the concluding words of the review of this book by Prof. Qazi M. Aslam, M. Maulana Shams has written an important and interest- ing book that will prove a landmark in the history of the efforts on behalf of Islam which Ahmadis are putting forth so successfully in the West.
