Chapter Fourteen—A Paramount Prophecy 215 Our beloved Allah, save the Christians from worshipping a man as God, and fulfil the promises of Thy prophets for this age. Lift the wounded ones from the thorns. Purify them in the fountain of Thy salvation which lies only in Thy knowledge and Thy love. There is no salvation in the blood of man. Merciful God, it has been long that Christians have worshipped a man, but now have mercy on them, and open their eyes. Almighty and Merciful God, everything is possible unto Thee. Release them, therefore, from the false dogmas of the crucifixion and the blood of Jesus. Almighty God, hear me for their benefit, and enlighten their hearts with heavenly light so that they may see Thee. Who can imagine they would see Thee? In whose mind would they avoid the worshipping of a crea- ture, and listen to Thy voice? But O God, everything is possible for Thee. So do not destroy them as Thou didst in the days of Noah.
