We take our stand on an- other verse also, which says: 'We have not created the Jinn and the Men except that they should worship God' (51 : 57) The verse teaches that ev~n evil creatures will. ultimately enter the fold of the true worshippers of God. As long as we find this verse in. the Quran, how can we deny that at last God's mercy will result ' in the forgiveness of all sinners ? How can we say that the inmates of · hell will never shed their sinful tendencies or that those who have been created. to become worshippers of God will end their days as worshippers of Satan ?
