WA S IYYAT RULES 15 iii. So far as possible, obtain the signatures of his heirs on such declaration. Rule 55. H i ss a A mad shall be payable on the commuted amount of Pension and it shall be obligatory for the M usi to make payment of such H i ss a A mad in lump sum. If, however, owing to some pressing circumstances, he is unable to do so, he shall, in the prescribed manner, seek permission and extension of time from Majlis Karpardaz. Rule 56. In the case of a M usi who dies during his service, the financial assistance provided to his family commonly known as gratuity or family pension, shall not be treated as his Tarka and H i ss a Wa s iyyat shall not be payable on it. Rule 57. The amount of any group insurance received on the death of a M usi shall not be treated as his Tarka if the premium of such insurance has been paid by the Government or the concerned organisation. Rule 58. In case of a group insurance where the premium has been paid through deductions from the salary of the M usi , H i ss a Wa s iyyat shall be payable to the extent of insurance premium deducted, unless the M usi in his lifetime has been paying H i ss a Wa s iyyat on his gross salary inclusive of the premium deductions. Rule 59. Such part of the Provident Fund on which H i ss a Wa s iyyat has not been paid and the Provident Fund is paid to the survivors, after M usi 's death, shall be treated as M usi 's Tarka and H i ss a Wa s iyyat shall be payable thereon.
