نبیوں میں سب سے بزرگ اور کامیاب نبی 643 اسوہ انسان کامل "If the object of religion be the inculcation of morals, the diminution of evil, the promotion of human happiness, the expansion of the human intellect, if the performance of good works will avail in the great day when mankind shall be summoned to its final reckoning, it is neither irreverent nor unreasonable to admit that Muhammad was indeed an apostle of God۔" "The most convincing evidence of his (Prophet Muhammad's) honesty of purpose, his self-confidence, and his earnest dovotion, is furnishted by the rank and charactor or his first disciples, and the reverence with which his teachings were received۔"(18) ترجمہ : اگر مذہب کا مقصد اخلاق کی ترویج ، برائی کا خاتمہ، انسانی خوشی و خوشحالی کی ترقی اور انسان کی ذہنی صلاحیتوں کا جلاء ہے اور اگر نیک اعمال کی جزا اس بڑے دن ملنی ہے جب تمام بنی نوع انسان قیامت کو خدا کے حضور پیش کئے جائیں گے تو پھر یہ تسلیم کرنا کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) بلاشبہ خدا کے رسول تھے ہر گز بے بنیا د اور بے دلیل ( دعوی ) نہیں ہے۔پیغمبر محمد کی اپنے مقصد سے وفا، آپ کی خود اعتمادی اور انتہائی کمال کو پہنچی ہوئی وفا کا سب سے بڑا قابل فہم ثبوت، آپ کے ابتدائی اصحاب کے اعلیٰ اخلاق اور وہ انداز ہیں جس سے آپ کی تعلیم کو قبول کیا گیا۔14۔مسٹر تھامس ڈبلیو آرنلڈ (1896ء) عظیم محقق اسلام لکھتے ہیں:۔"It has been frequently asserted by European writers that from the date of Muhammad's migration to Medina, and from the altered circumstances of his life there, the Prophet appears in an entirely new character۔He is no longer the preacher, the warner, the apostle of God to men, whom he would persuade of the truth of the religion revealed to him, but now he appears rather as the unscrupulous bigot, using all means at his disposal of force and statecraft to assert himself and his opinion۔" "But it is false to suppose that Muhammad in Medina laid aside his role of preacher and missionary of Islam, or
