نبیوں میں سب سے بزرگ اور کامیاب نبی 641 اسوہ انسان کامل and to be illustrated by a messenger whose life would be multi-faceted and who would serve as an exemplar for mankind۔Such was Muhammad۔Another very striking factor in his support is that no one else even remotely approaching his stature and his qualities appeared to guide mankind at the time of its greatest need۔The conclusion is irresistible that he was beyond doubt the pre-determined instrument of God for the revival of mankind۔" (16) ترجمہ : محمد (ﷺ) کی بعثت کے وقت دنیا کی حالت زار کا نقشہ قرآن میں یوں پیش کیا گیا ہے کہ لوگوں کے بد اعمال کی وجہ سے خشکی اور تری میں فساد برپا ہو چکا ہے (30:42) اس سے ہماری بیان کردہ شہادت کی تائید ہوتی ہے اور واضح ہو جاتا ہے کہ رسول اللہ کی بعثت کے وقت دنیا کی حالت بآواز بلند اس عالمی اور کامل الہی ہدایت کو پکار رہی تھی جو خدا کے الہامی الفاظ میں ایک ایسے رسول کے ذریعہ بیان کی جائے جس کی زندگی مختلف پہلوؤں اور جہات پر حاوی ہو اور جو بنی نوع انسان کے لئے ایک نمونہ اور اسوہ ہو، ایسے انسان محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ہی تھے۔آپ کی تائید میں ایک اور اہم پہلو یہ ہے کہ کوئی انسان بھی اس زمانہ میں بنی نوع انسان کی ہدایت کے لئے نہیں آیا جو آپ کے مقام اور صلاحیتوں تک پہنچا۔جب کہ دنیا کو اس کی انتہائی ضرورت تھی۔جس کا ناقابل تردید نتیجہ یہی ہے کہ بلاشبہ آپ کا وجود انسان کی رشد و ہدایت کے لئے خدا کے ہتھیار کے طور پر پہلے سے مقدر تھا۔“ سر ولیم میور مزید لکھتے ہیں :۔"I will merely add that the simplicity and earnestness of Abu Bekr, and of 'Omar also, the first two Caliphs, are strong evidence of their belief in the sincerity of Mohammad; and the belief of these men must carry undeniable weight in the formation of our own estimate of his character, since the opportunities they enjoyed for testing the grounds of their conviction were both close and long-continued۔It is enough that I allude to this consideration, as strengthening generally the view of Mohammad's character which throughout I have sought to support۔۔۔A remarkable feature was the urbanity and consideration with which Mohammad treated even the most insignificant of his followers۔Modesty and kindliness, patience, self-denial, and
