He had also stated that he was not aware as to who was going to be elected as the next Khalifa, but what he wished was as a well- wisher to advise Ahmadis not to have any Khalifa. Continuing, he had said that Miya ń Sahib (i. e. the present writer) regarded non-Ahmadis as kuffar , a view which was not only wrong, but contrary to piety, and that if after all they were going to elect a Khalifa, he should be one who did not regard non-Ahmadis as kuffar , because the Khalifa should be one pre-eminent for his piety, while a person who regarded non- Ahmadis as kuffar could not be pious.
