I do not say on my own authority but call God Almighty to witness that the truth is that he who forsakes me and denies me, even if he does so only by his conduct and not by his tongue, rejects the whole of the Holy Quran and forsakes God. (Alhakam, 17 March 1906) The Holy Quran describes those who reject one sent by God as being dead. How then can one who is alive join in a prayer service led by one who is dead?
