PRAYERS 109 In the name of All a h , with His support and in the tradition of His Messenger. 220 Prayer on Visiting Graves Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra relates that when the Holy Prophet sa visited Jannat-ul-Baq i ‘ he recited these words: ْ ْ اَﻟﺴَّﻼَم ُ 2َﻠَﻴ ْکُﻢ ُْ اَﻫ ۡ ﻞ َ اﻟﺪِّﻳَﺎر ِ ﻣِﻦ َ امل َْ ﺆ ُْ ﻣِﻨِني ْو َ امل َْ ﺴ َ ﻠِﻤِني ْو َ اِﻧَّﺎ اِﻧ ُﺸَﺎء ْاﷲ ْﺑِکُﻢ ْ ﻻَﺣِﻘُﻮن َ اَﻧ َّﺘُﻢ َْﻟَﻨَﺎ ﻓَﺮَط ٌ و ْ حن ْﻦ ُ ﻟَکُﻢ ُ ﺗَﺒَﻊ ٌ أَﺳ ْ ﺎَل اﷲ َ اﻟ ۡ ﻌَﺎﻓِﻴَﺔ َ ﻟَﻨَﺎ وَﻟَکُﻢ. 221 O the inhabitants of the other world, from among the believers and the Muslims, peace be upon you. Surely we are going to join you. We beseech All a h , to bestow safety upon you and us.
