After a detailed analysis of the Pope’s lecture, we shall expa- tiate, in the succeeding chapters, on those Islamic teachings that were mentioned by the Pope in his discourse. All his objections and misrepresentations shall be discussed at length to understand what are the true Islamic teachings after all, what is the concept of God in Islam, what is the new message that Islam brought for the world, and what novel teachings does it present.
