Even a person with a modicum of reason can realize that, although appar - ently only the Companions ra are addressed, in fact, all Muslims, and not just the Companions ra , are obligated to act upon these injunctions. In short, the true and real Quranic style that gener - ally characterizes the Holy Quran is that its real addressees are all the Muslims who will be born until doomsday, even though, apparently, only the Companions of the Holy Prophet s as are being addressed.
