H A D R AT M IR Z A GHU L A M AH M AD A S 107 through khil a fat. Meaning that, like Hadrat M u s a , peace be upon him, God has appointed for the Holy Prophet, peace and bless - ings of Allah be upon him, Khulaf a ’ until the Day of Judgement and their testimony is considered to be the same as the testimony of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. And in this way, the meaning of the verse, 1 ۤاَّنِا ۤاَنْلَسْرَا ْمُكْيَلِا اًلْوُسَر١ۙ۬ اًدِهاَش ْمُكْيَلَع is proven correct in every aspect. Therefore, the belief in perma - nent witness, which is demonstrated firmly by the Quran and is agreed upon by all Muslims, can be proven rationally and factu - ally only when permanence of khil a fat is accepted. And this point proves my stance. Ponder over this point! The second reason is that the complete and perfect resem - blance of the Khilafat of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to the Mosaic Khilafat necessitates the coming of the Promised Messiah, as is understandable from the following verse, 1. Verily, We have sent to you a Messenger, who is a witness over you ( S u rah al-Muzzammil, 73:16). [Publisher] 2. Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them ( S u rah an-N u r, 24:56).
