T E S T I MON Y OF T HE HOLY Q U R AN 90 is clear that the paths of God Almighty are indeed those that have been disclosed to the Prophets. Then there are certain other verses that prove that it is indeed the will of the Benevolent God that spiritual teachers, who are the heirs of the Prophets, should always continue to appear. And these verses are: َدَعَو ُهّٰللا َنْيِذَّلا اْوُنَمٰا ْمُكْنِم َو اوُلِمَع ِتٰحِلّٰصلا ْمُهَّنَفِلْخَتْسَيَل يِف ِضْرَاْلا اَمَك َفَلْخَتْسا َنْيِذَّلا ْنِم 1 ْمِهِلْبَق َو اَل ُلاَزَي َنْيِذَّلا اْوُرَفَك ْمُهُبْيِصُت اَمِب اْوُعَنَص ٌةَعِراَق ْوَا ُّلُحَت اًبْيِرَق ْنِّم ْمِهِراَد ىّٰتَح َيِتْاَي ُدْعَو 2 Part Number 13 — ِهّٰللا١ؕ َّنِا َهّٰللا اَل ُفِلْخُي َداَعْيِمْلا 3 َو اَم اَّنُك َنْيِبِّذَعُم ىّٰتَح َثَعْبَن اًلْوُسَر Meaning that, O believers from among the Muhammadan ummah, God Almighty has promised to you that He will also make you successors in the earth, as He made successors among those who were before you. And physical or spiritual calamities shall continue to befall the disbelievers or descend close to their dwellings until the divine promise is fulfilled. Surely Allah does not act contrary to His promise. And We send not punishment till after We have raised a Messenger. If someone deeply and carefully reflects upon these verses, how can I say that he will not come to understand that God Almighty 1. S u rah an-N u r, 24:56 [Publisher] 2.
