11 the fact that so many nations and countries have reached a consensus on a single principle, without any means of exchanging their ideas, is proof of the veracity of this belief which has been mysteriously revealed by Islam and which in the past has been expressed to peoples of all countries and nations. Historians agree that when a claim [or a source] has been affirmed by chroniclers of different [ancient] communities, it ought to be considered authentic. Therefore, when hundreds and thousands of people have agreed on this fundamental precept, why should it not be accepted that they came to believe in it through some sort of [divine] manifestation? SECOND PROOF The second proof forwarded by the Holy Qur’an for the existence of God can be found in the following verses: َّ اِن ُ ء آ نَّش�َ َّْ م ٍ دَرَجٰت ُ نَْفَع ٖ قَوْمِه ع羡َٰ َ اِبَْاهِيْم آ اٰتَيْن�َٰ آ آ حَُّتُن�َ َ تِلْك ج هَدَيْنَا 羡 ًُّ ك ط َ وَيَعْقُوْب َ اِسْٰق آ ٗ ه َ ل وَوَهَبْنَا ٌ عَلِيْم ٌ حَكِيْم َ رَبَّك َ وَيُْسُف َ وَاَيُّْب َ وَسُلَيْمٰن َ دَاوٗد ٖ ذُرِّيَّتِه ِْ وَم ُ قَبْل ِْ م هَدَيْنَا وَنُْحًا 羡 ٰ وَعِيْس ٰ وَيَْي 羡 َّ وَزَكَرِي َْ الْمُحْسِنِي نَْزِى َ وَكَذٰلِك َ وَهٰرُوْن 羡 ٰ وَمُوْس وَلُوْطًا َ وَيُْنُس َ وَالْيَسَع َ وَاِسْٰعِيْل َْ الصّٰلِحِي َِّ م ٌُّ ك َ وَاِلْيَاس
