تاریخ احمدیت۔جلد 26 381 سال 1970ء نائیجیریا مولوی محمد بشیر صاحب شاد ۹ سال تک نائیجیریا میں دینی خدمات بجالاتے رہے۔اس سال جولائی کے آخر میں آپ نے پاکستان واپس جانے سے قبل کانو کے امیر الحاجی آڈو بیرو ( Alhaji Ado Bayero) سے الوداعی ملاقات کی جس کی تفصیلی خبر اخبار کا نوسٹیٹ ایکسپریس ( Kano State Express) نے یکم اگست ۱۹۷۰ء کو اپنے شمارہ کے صفحہ ہم پر شائع کی جس کا متن درج ذیل کیا جاتا ہے۔The Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Movement in the Northern State's Maulvi Mohammad Shad, will soon leave Nigeria to Pakistan for "good" after nine years service for the movement in Nigeria۔Maulvi Shad yesterday paid a farewell call on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, at the Emir's Palace۔He told the Emir that the purpose of his farewell call was to express his gratitude to the State Government, Local Government Authority and the entire people of Kano for their hospitality during his long stay in Kano۔He said that not very many people were familiar with this movement when he first came to Kano, but today quite a good number of indigenous Ahmadiyya communities have been established due to the cooperation and encouragement of the people۔The missionary disclosed to the Emir that some Ahmadiyya missionaries from Pakistan have already been sent to America to convert black Americans to Islam۔
