*1965J 26 تاریخ احمدیت۔جلد 23 Sanskrit has been proved to be the proto-Aryan۔For some time, it was being proffered as probably the mother of all due to its grammatical perfection and antiquity۔Having failed to prove their theory, the Orientalists and Philologers did not examine the possibility that in fact the three representative groups may really have emanated from the same source and in this way the claim of Arabic was at first by-passed and later not considered at all۔Their failure, however, led them, particularly Maxmuller, to think of the monogenesis theory which, he hoped, may one day be proved۔The author then dwells upon the following well-known verses of the Quran:- "And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours۔In that, surely are signs for those who possess knowledge۔" (30:23) This verse has been taken to be a prophecy that behind the diversity of languages will be found a common origin۔"And God taught Adam all names" (2:32)۔"The Beneficent (Rahman) taught the Quran۔He created man, taught him the mode of expression (Bayan)"- (55:2-5)۔"This is Arabic tongue, plain and clear"-(16: 104)۔"These are the verses of the Book that makes things manifest"-(15: 2)۔It has been argued that these verses put forth the claim of Arabic as the original language of mankind۔
