تاریخ احمدیت۔جلد 22 417 سال 1964ء FIFTY YEARS OF KHILAFAT The Khilafat of Hazrat Mirza Bashirud Deen Mahmud Ahmad has now, with the grace of God, entered the fifty-first year۔He was elected Khalifa by popular vote of the members of the Ahmadiyya Movement on March 14, 1914۔Before he became Khalifa, Hazrat Maulvi Nuruddeen, the Khalifatul Masih I, had prophetically hinted that Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddeen Mahmud Ahmad will become Khalifa at a comparatively younger age and will live fairly long so that the period of his Khilafat will be a long one۔Eldest of the daughters of the Promised Messiah, peace be on him, Sayyida Mubaraka Begum, relates that once the Promised Messiah said that he sometimes feels that he should tell his followers that Mahmud will become Khalifa, but then he does not do so, because he believes that the will of God will, itself, show its manifestation at the appropriate time۔The entire staff of the Truth offers hearty congratulations to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II on this auspicious occasion and all of us wish him good health and long life to continue the good work that he has carried on for the past fifty years۔We also pledge our hearty submission and humble cooperation in every aspect of his work۔ترجمه خلافت کے پچاس سال حضرت مرزا بشیر الدین محمود احمد کی خلافت اب بفضل خدا کا ونویں سال میں داخل ہو گئی ہے۔
