490 Translation: [Arabic] Tell them: I have with me proof from Allah; will you then believe or not? Tell them: I have with me proof from Allah; will you then accept or not? Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, so that Allah may also love you. [ Announce: O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, that is, I have been sent by Allah. ] [Ishtih a r Mi‘y a rul-Akhy a r, p. 3, May 25, 1900, Majm u’ a-e-Ishtih a r a t, vol. 3, pp. 269–270] 1900 At the time of the writing of this booklet 520 it was conveyed to me that what I wrote in Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah about Qadian, in consequence of a vision, namely, that Qadian is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, is indeed correct. It is a certainty that the verse of the Holy Qur’an: 521 describes not only the mi‘r a j [ascent] of the Holy Prophet sa with reference to space, but also his ascent with reference to time, for without this the ascent would be incomplete. In other words, as God took the Holy Prophet, on whom be the peace and blessings of Allah, from the Sacred Mosque to the Distant Mosque as a journey between the two places, in the same way He also took him on a spiritual journey through time from the age of the splendour of Islam which 520 Khu t bah Ilh a miyyah.
