• Try to adopt Islamaic phrases in your conversation, such as Jazakumullah ُ ہّٰلل جَزَاکُمُ ا Masha Allah ہّٰلل ا ماشا�ء Bismillah ہّٰلل ا بسم Alhamdulillah ُ ِہّٰلِل الْـحَـمْد Insha Allah ہّٰلل ا انشا�ء • Think before you speak. If you do not have anything useful to say it is better to remain quiet. • Clean and righteous speech makes one inherit the Paradise. ETIQUETTE OF BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS: • The Holy Quran states: ل تاوی احسن و خیر ذالک م ي المستق بالقسطاس وزنوا کلتم اذا ل ي الک اوفوا And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a right balance that is best and most commendable in the end (17:36). • Business deals or transactions should be reduced to writing. It is incumbent upon the participants to keep such records safe. • The Holy Quran states: ون س یخ وزنوھم او ھم کالوا اذا یستوفون و الناس علی اکتالوا اذا للمطففین الذین ویل Woe unto those who give short measure; Those who, when they take by measure from other people, take it full; But when they give by measure to others or weigh to them, they give them less. (83:2-4). When receiving something, express your thanks by saying. Jazakumullah ہّٰلل ا جزاکم 14-15 114
