1-2 YEARS 1 TO 2 YEARS Parents should try to adopt the following to teach their children by example: Before starting any work say loudly: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ Bismillahir rahmaanir raheem ☐ Say in a loud voice according to the occasion. • E. g. prayer before eating a meal: بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللهِ Bismillahi wa ala baraka-tillah or prayer at the end of the meal: الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِئ أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانًا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ Al-hamdu lillah-hilla-zi at-ama-na wa saqaana wa ja alana minal muslimeen Sal-lallahu alaihi wasallam should be said loudly whenever the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) name is mentioned. ☐ The Holy Qur'an should be recited daily in front of the child. - 14-
