152 وَمَا کُنْت َ فِي اِیْذَاء ِ نَفْسِی ْ مُقَصِّرًا ُوَمَا کُنْت َ فِي اِیْذَاء ِ نَفْسِی ْ مُقَصِّرًا ْ تَسَوَّر لَو َ جِدَارِنَا َ عِنْد ُتَـمَنَّیْت ْ تَسَوَّر لَو َ جِدَارِنَا َ عِنْد تَـمَنَّیْت You left no stone unturned in trying to hurt me, And you sought to trespass over my wall. ِّٰ اِن ْ اُجْعَل ْ عَلَیْك َ مُسَلَّــــطًـا هّٰلل وَو َا ِّٰ اِن ْ اُجْعَل ْ عَلَیْك َ مُسَلَّــــطًـا هّٰلل ُوَو َا َ تُقْصِر یُـجَازِیْك ْ عَمَّا َّ یَدِي ُفَاِن َ تُقْصِر یُـجَازِیْك ْ عَمَّا َّ یَدِي فَاِن And—by God—had I been given authority over you, My hand would yet remain unwilling to punish you. ٌ ِّٰ لِي ْ فِي بَاطِن ِ الْقَلْب ِ مُضْمَر هّٰلل وَوَا ٌ ِّٰ لِي ْ فِي بَاطِن ِ الْقَلْب ِ مُضْمَر هّٰلل ُوَوَا َ تُنْکِر ْ اَنْت ٍ وَلَو ُ اِشْفَاق ُسَرِیْرَۃ َ تُنْکِر ْ اَنْت ٍ وَلَو ُ اِشْفَاق سَرِیْرَۃ By God, there is inherent within my heart The quality of compassion, regardless of whether you deny me. اَتَتْنِي ْ اُمُوْر ٌ مِنْك َ قَد ْ شَق َّ وَقْعُھَا ُاَتَتْنِي ْ اُمُوْر ٌ مِنْك َ قَد ْ شَق َّ وَقْعُھَا َ اَبْھَر ْ ھِي ِ بَل َ کَالسَّیْف اْل َ َّ و ُعَلَي َ اَبْھَر ْ ھِي ِ بَل َ کَالسَّیْف اْل َ َّ و عَلَي I have learnt certain things of yours that have laid heavy upon me— Not just like swords—but even sharper. ً وَمَا کَان َ لِي ْ اَن ْ اَتْرُك َ الْحَق َّ خِیْفَۃ ً ُوَمَا کَان َ لِي ْ اَن ْ اَتْرُك َ الْحَق َّ خِیْفَۃ ِِّٰ اُنْذِر هّٰلل ُ ُ الْعُرْیَان الْمُنْذِر ُاَنَـا ِِّٰ اُنْذِر هّٰلل ُ ُ الْعُرْیَان الْمُنْذِر اَنَـا And I am not one to become fearful and abandon the Truth; I am a plain Warner—I only warn for the sake of God. وَاِن ْ کُنْت َ تُزْرِیْنَا فَنَبْغِي ْ لَك َ الْھُدٰی ُوَاِن ْ کُنْت َ تُزْرِیْنَا فَنَبْغِي ْ لَك َ الْھُدٰی ُصَبَرْنَا وَاِن ْ تُغْرِي الْعِدَا اَو ْ تُھَتِّر صَبَرْنَا وَاِن ْ تُغْرِي الْعِدَا اَو ْ تُھَتِّر Although you seek to find faults in me, I desire guidance for you; I show forbearance even though you incite the enemy against me or try to humiliate me. ٍ وَاِن ْ کُنْت َ مِنِّی ْ تَشْتَکِي ْ فِي مَقَالَۃ ٍ ُوَاِن ْ کُنْت َ مِنِّی ْ تَشْتَکِي ْ فِي مَقَالَۃ ر ِّ ٍ تُشَھ َ سَیْف َّ دُوْن اْل ِ َ ا ھُو ُفَمَا ر ِّ ٍ تُشَھ َ سَیْف َّ دُوْن اْل ِ َ ا ھُو فَمَا Should you be unhappy with me about something I have said, It is less harsh than the sword you are brandishing.
