The Miraculous Qasidah 125 ْ وَقَامُوْا لِبَذْل ِ نُفُوْسِھِم ْ مِن ْ صِدْقِھِم ْ ُوَقَامُوْا لِبَذْل ِ نُفُوْسِھِم ْ مِن ْ صِدْقِھِم َزْأَر ی ُ ة یَّ ِ ِ الْمَن ْه ی ٍ فِ مَوْطِن ُعَلٰی َزْأَر ی ُ ة یَّ ِ ِ الْمَن ْه ی ٍ فِ مَوْطِن عَلٰی As they were faithful people, to lay down their lives they stood at a place, Where they could see death roaring at them like a lion. ٌ ْبَة ی ِ وَصُبَّت ْ عَلٰی رَأْس ِ النَّبِي ِّ مُص ٌ ْبَة ی ِ ُوَصُبَّت ْ عَلٰی رَأْس ِ النَّبِي ِّ مُص ِ الْمِغْفَر َ السُّیُوْف ِ مِن ْه ی عَلَ ُوَدَقُّوْا ِ الْمِغْفَر َ السُّیُوْف ِ مِن ْه ی عَلَ وَدَقُّوْا On this occasion a calamity befell the Holy Prophet; The enemies struck his iron helmet with their swords causing it to depress his skull. ٍ ْ مُکَلَّم ْ فِي ْ نَطَّلِع لَم مِثْلِھَا عَلٰی ٍ ْ مُکَلَّم ْ فِي ْ نَطَّلِع لَم مِثْلِھَا ُعَلٰی ْسٰی أَو ْ مِن َ الرُّسْل ِ آخَر ی ُوَإِن ْ کَان َ عِ ْسٰی أَو ْ مِن َ الرُّسْل ِ آخَر ی وَإِن ْ کَان َ عِ One cannot find a precedent for such hardships, Among any other Messengers, be it ‘ I s a [Jesus] or someone else. ً اَل ِ َ بَاط ُ کَان کُلُّه ْ أَھٰذَا فَفَکِّر ً اَل ِ َ بَاط ُ کَان کُلُّه ْ أَھٰذَا ُفَفَکِّر ر یَّ ْئًا یُغَ ی ُوَمَا کَان َ شِرْك ُ النَّاس ِ شَ ر یَّ ْئًا یُغَ ی وَمَا کَان َ شِرْك ُ النَّاس ِ شَ So, reflect whether or not all this happened with a purpose, And whether Shirk was not something which should have been replaced [by the Oneness of God]. الْوَفَا ِ أَبَا سَاء ِّ َ الن ْ عَار َئِمِي اْل َ اْل َ أ الْوَفَا ِ أَبَا سَاء ِّ َ الن ْ عَار َئِمِي اْل َ اْل َ ُأ تَتَنَمَّر ِ الْوَغٰی َان ی َ کَفِتْ َم اْل ِ ُإ تَتَنَمَّر ِ الْوَغٰی َان ی َ کَفِتْ َم اْل ِ إ O Sanaullah, you who even shames women by his behaviour! How long will you keep deceiving others by acting like soldiers on a battlefield? ْن َ حِجَّةً؟ ی أَرُدْت ُّ الْھَوٰی مِن ْ بَعْد ِ سِتِّ ْن َ حِجَّةً؟ ی ُأَرُدْت ُّ الْھَوٰی مِن ْ بَعْد ِ سِتِّ ر ِّ ُ الْمُفَک َرَاه ی َ اْل ٌ َ رَأْي ذٰلِك َ ُو ر ِّ ُ الْمُفَک َرَاه ی َ اْل ٌ َ رَأْي ذٰلِك َ و Did I give in to avarice after I was sixty years of age? No sane person would have such an opinion about me.
