The Miraculous Qasidah 117 ٍ َ إِن َّ أَھْل َ السَّب ِّ یُدْرٰی بِلَطْمَة اْل َ أ ٍ َ إِن َّ أَھْل َ السَّب ِّ یُدْرٰی بِلَطْمَة اْل َ ُأ یُکَسَّر ٍ بِالْھَرَاوٰی ُ لَطْم مُجْرِم َ ُو یُکَسَّر ٍ بِالْھَرَاوٰی ُ لَطْم مُجْرِم َ و Be warned that he who abuses is reprimanded with a slap on the face, And, he who is guilty of slapping someone without reason is pun- ished with a whip. َّ وَالْقَلٰی َ وَالسَّب ْن ی ِ َ وَالتَّوْھ اك َّ ی ِ فَإ َّ وَالْقَلٰی َ وَالسَّب ْن ی ِ َ وَالتَّوْھ اك َّ ی ِ ُفَإ ْت َ الْحَجْر َ بِالْحَجْر ِ تُنْذَر ی َ ُإِذَا مَا رَم ْت َ الْحَجْر َ بِالْحَجْر ِ تُنْذَر ی َ إِذَا مَا رَم Therefore, you must refrain yourself from defamation, abuse, and enmity; If you hurl a stone, you will be reproached in kind. ْ َّ دَأْبُکُم َ وَالسَّب َّ اللَّعْن ُ أَن وَأَعْلَم ْ َّ دَأْبُکُم َ وَالسَّب َّ اللَّعْن ُ أَن ُوَأَعْلَم سَیُکْفَر َوْمًا ی َ ْر ی َ التَّکْفِ ْ أَکْثَر مَن َ ُو سَیُکْفَر َوْمًا ی َ ْر ی َ التَّکْفِ ْ أَکْثَر مَن َ و I know that hurling abuse and vituperation has become your habit; He who constantly calls others disbelievers is bound to be declared a disbeliever himself one day. ْکِنَا ی ِ َ مَل ْ أَمَام اکُم َّ ی ِ وَإ إِنَّا َ و ْکِنَا ی ِ َ مَل ْ أَمَام اکُم َّ ی ِ وَإ إِنَّا َ ُو َنْظُر ی َ ھُو کَمَا َانَا ی ْ قَضَا َقْضِي ی ُفَ َنْظُر ی َ ھُو کَمَا َانَا ی ْ قَضَا َقْضِي ی فَ Our Master is watching me and you both; He will decide our case in view of what He is witnessing. ُ َ تَزْعَم أَنْت کَمَا ُ کَذَّابًا ْ کُنْت فَإِن ُ َ تَزْعَم أَنْت کَمَا ُ کَذَّابًا ْ کُنْت ُفَإِن ِ أُحَقَّر َنَام ْأ اْل ا ْ فِي وَإِنِّي ُفَتُعْلـٰی ِ أُحَقَّر َنَام ْأ اْل ا ْ فِي وَإِنِّي فَتُعْلـٰی If I am false in my claim as you believe I am, Then your status will be raised and I will be maligned by the people. ْ ْکِھِم ی ِ ْوَإِن ْ کُنْت ُ مِن ْ قَوْم ٍ أَتَوْا مِن ْ مَّل ْکِھِم ی ِ ُوَإِن ْ کُنْت ُ مِن ْ قَوْم ٍ أَتَوْا مِن ْ مَّل تُبْتَر َ َ و ْن ی ِ َ الْمُفْسِد جَزَاء ُفَتُجْزٰی تُبْتَر َ َ و ْن ی ِ َ الْمُفْسِد جَزَاء فَتُجْزٰی But if I am from among those who come from their Sovereign Lord; Then you will suffer the punishment that is due for the mischief-makers.
