Countenance of the Beloved Countenance of the Beloved A letter in verse to Sayyed Ahmad Khan C. S. I. who denied the acceptance of prayer م�ی�دارد اجحب خ � رُوےئ دربل از اگبلطران � د دروخر ویم اتدب ادنر اماتہب ش س خ � یم در The face of the Beloved is not veiled from seekers. It shines in the sun and is reflected in the moon. ازاغالفنامدناہنن خ ی� س� � نرُوےئ آ خ � ک ی ل� ربداردناز رہبش اقنب ہک د اعےقش اب�ی� But that Lovely Countenance is indeed hidden from the eyes of the heedless; It is only for a sincere lover that the veil is lifted. زوخنت اہیمن آ�ی� د دبتس شک دانم اپ ارطضاب زجعودردو از ر �ی� خ � ت �یس� خ � راےہ چ � ی �ہ� Arrogance can lead no hand to reach the hem of His holy garment; There is no way to reach Him except through the door of humil- ity, pain, and anguish. م ی � �ی�اردق ٴ ِ وُكہچ اتس راہ ک سب رطخان ہ ارساتبب ی � رو ازوخد اجن الستم اب�ی�دت Fraught with perils is the path to the Eternal Beloved; Abandon your ego if you value your life.
