142 اعاقشن را وبد ز دصق آاثر ق ہچ اکر ش س �بع �یہ دل رتا � اے The signs of sincerity are present in lovers, O black-hearted one, what have you to do with love! �ُ و یتسہ ات دبر رنَوَد ت � ات ز مخت رشک از دل وت رب رنَوَد Unless your ego leaves you, The seed of idolatry in your heart will not depart. رنَوَد رت دنلب ت ع�ی� � اپےئ رنَوَد رسب ِ دل دود رتا ات The steps of your efforts will not move forward Until the smoke of your heart—your arrogance—ceases to exist. اگنہم دران وشد �ی�دا چ � �ی�ار ہک وت رگدی اہنن زوخد ہب امتم The Beloved will manifest Himself at the time When you distance yourself from your ego. ات ہن وسزی زوسز و مغ رنیہ رنیہ مہ ومت ز م�ی�ری خ � ات Unless you first burn yourself out, you will not deliver yourself from burning passions and grief. Unless you first die, you will not liberate yourself from the clutches of death. وسنتخ اجنونتہک ٴ رہزہ ن آ ت چ �یس� ح آشت ادنر دےل زبن ہک وسنتخ Of what use are the worthless bodies and souls that are not burn- ing [in the pangs of separation]; Hurl into the fire such a heart that suffers not from grief! ربابد خ �ُ �بِک وخد مسج ٴ ہبلک آابد دخا از رگدد یمن وچن Demolish the hovel of your body If the remembrance of God does not dwell in it.
