But it is a pity that he does not know that the power of Islam has dwindled and religiously speaking Mukh- liseena lahuddeen are nowhere to be found (i. e. the people who should devote themselves to the service of Islam sincerely are not to be found anywhere). Inwardly Islam has become weak and outwardly the people would like to efface it from the world. The opponents think of the Muslims as very low like dogs and swines: they do not -like to see them alive. Were a true Muslim to come to know of all that is happening in this respect, he would suc- cumb to the grief. It is only the Book of God (the Holy Quran) and His Signs that can now help; the opponents cannot be faced without these two things. And that actually is the aim of my advent.
