The Shariah orders that articles of a certain standard of excellence alone should be put into the market: but suppose thare is an Ahmadi businessman who contravenes this order by wanting to sell inferior and defective goods. In such a case suppose we advise that no. Ahmadi should buy these goods but it some people begin to protest that this was interference with a man's right to earn a living, then how and when on earth would a start be made for putting the Islamic way of life into operation. If we agree like this to free people from the necessity to observe the Islamic teaching first in regard to one thing, then in regard to another, and so on, our case would be like that of a man who, it is said, once went to have the likeness of a lion tatooed on his body.
