34 warden 30 over them; But whoever turns away and disbelieves, Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. " 31 In this context, the phrase, ‘You are not a warden’ means that: Although We have appointed you for the guidance of the whole of mankind, yet We have not granted you the prerogative of using compulsion in this regard. You should keep on exhorting and admonishing. The matter of those who would disbelieve is for Us to deal with. There is the greatest chastisement for those who would disbelieve. But as far as your personal liability is concerned, you would certainly not be questioned about those people who are disbelieving.
