For if it was the case for the Holy Qur’ ā n to keep nations’ histories, the Holy Qur’ ā n would be a book of illuminous volumes. That verse is mentioned in the Holy Qur’ ā n so that every nation will know that God has not forsaken them. If they lose their history, it is the fault of their forefathers for not keeping it.
