Epilogue 221 God that will definitely be fulfilled one day. ( Tajalliyy a t- e-Il a hiyyah, p. 21) With regard to the worldwide progress of Islam, for which he was ordained, the Promised Messiah as says: Those days are near when the Sun of truth shall rise from the west and Europe shall learn about the True God. […] The days are near when all religions but Islam shall per- ish. All stratagems shall come to naught but the heavenly stratagem of Islam that shall neither break nor become blunt, until it has smashed Dajj a liyat [Falsehood] into smithereens. The day comes when Divine Unity—which is felt even by those living in wilderness and those devoid of learning—shall spread in all countries. That day shall see the end of the false concept of atonement and no arti- ficial god shall remain. With a single stroke, God shall do away with all the schemes of the disbelievers. But this shall come about neither by sword nor by the gun, but shall be wrought by bestowing light to ready spirits and by the descent of truth upon the hearts. Then only shall you understand what I tell you now. ( Tadhkirah, pp. 285–286) Does the present state of Ahmadiyya Jam a ‘at, which is no better than a creeping ant in this vast world, and the present weakness of the Muslims, who are regarded as ‘sick men’, inspire hope of such a magnificent future? If not, and certainly not, and still it comes to pass as prophesied, will it not prove that there is an All-Knowing and All-Powerful God overseeing this world like
