Preface to the Second Edition was first published in 1992. The present edition has been substantially revised. Particular attention has been given to make the text easy flowing as well as to its clear layout and design. Moreover it includes some new material. For exam- ple some important extracts from the writings of the Promised Messiah, may peace be upon him, have been added. The concept of God has been put forth in all its glory and wealth in the Holy Quran, the scripture of Islam, and explained truly and adequately by the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. At the present time a servant of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as of Qadian, the Promised Messiah, revived it in the light of the Islamic teachings for our benefit.
