332 For we are both threatened by Zionist and by racist and militaristic persecution of our people; a movement that has reversed the values that we have cherished in the Arab East۔Such is the arrogance of Zionism that it has not hesitated to egress the historical features of the City of God, thus attempting to destroy our common heritage, which had filled our lives with joy and inspiration۔In conclusion, let this be our common prayer: that we should all want a Jerusalem delivered that will be again a sanctuary of spirituality۔There shall we defend the respect of man whilst yearning for God۔There shall we lay the foundations of a new civilization for all the peoples of the world, a civilization based not on exploitation but on peace and justice which alone can assure a fruitful and brotherly meeting of nations۔Mr۔Chairman, It is with the greatest pleasure that I offer on behalf of my delegation and on my own behalf our sincere congratulations to the delegations of Cameroon, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Uganda and Upper Volta on their admission as members of our Organization۔We are also happy with the participation of Iraq for the first time as observer at this historic conference۔I bid them a warm welcome and we are happy to have them with us۔Their presence here is a clear indication of the growing strength and unity of our Muslim brother-hood۔
