The child was brought to H u du r sa. He was on his last breath. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa 's eyes brimmed with tears. Hadrat Sa‘d ra was surprised and said, "O Prophet of All a h, why are you crying?" The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa replied, "It is the sentiment of love which All a h has put in the hearts of His servants. " 21 Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Abb a s ra relates. "One of the younger daughters of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa was about to die. H u du r sa embraced her and then put his hand on her. The girl breathed her last. The girl's body was in front of H u du r sa. Her mother, Umme Aiman who had suckled her, started to cry. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said, 'O Umme Aiman, you cry in the presence of the Messenger of All a h. ' She replied, "If the Prophet of God is crying, how can I refrain frm crying?" H u du r sa said, "I am not crying. These are the tears brought on by love". Then he added, "A believer enjoys benevolence and graciousness in every situation. He praises and glorifies All a h even when his soul is being seized". 22
