CHAPTER 18 The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa as a Patron and a Great Teacher 426 people accept that and allow it to happen and how could it be permitted. Then the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa lovingly put his hand on the youngman's shoulder and prayed َ ّٰ ا ُ ﻟﻠ َّ ﻬ ْﻢ ِ اﻏ ْ ﻔ َ ﺮ ْ ذ َ ﻧ ٗ ﺒ َﻪ َ و ِّ ﻃ ْ ﻬ َ ﺮ ْ ﻗ َ ﻠ ٗ ﺒ َﻪ َ و ِّ ﺣ ْ ﺼ َﻦ ْ ﻓ َ ﺮ ٗ ﺟ ﻪ meaning, 'O All a h, forgive this young man's mistake, purify his heart and make him chaste. ' This young man was so influenced by this excellent advice and the prayer that he banished the thought of this evil deed from his mind and never ever thought about it again. 26 Praise be to All a h, what a loving patron was given to mankind. H u du r sa took this bedouin home, fed him and also gave him gifts. He then asked the bedouin if he was pleased. He happily replied, "Not only myself but my tribesmen are happy and pleased. " The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa told him to repeat these words in front of the Companions, as he had hurt them by using harsh words. So he expressed his feelings of happiness to the Companions.
