CHAPTER 17 The Prophet sa as a Summoner to All a h 402 were wearing silk robes made in Yemen. They asked the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa , they have heard that he forbids people from reproaching others. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said, "I am not a king. I am Muhammad bin ‘Abdull a h. " They said that they would not call him by his name. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa told them to call him Abul Q a sim. They said, "We have thought of something in our heart, can you guess what it is?" The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa replied, "Holy is All a h, such a thing is the work of soothsayers and soothsayers are hell bound. "Then they enquired as to how they could be sure of his being a Prophet. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said, "God has sent me with truth and such a magnificent book has been revealed to me that falsehood cannot influence it in any way. " They requested that some part of the book to be recited to them. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa started the recitation of S u rah A s-S aff a t. When he reached the sixth verse َ ُّ ر َْب َ امل ِ ﺸ ِ ﺎر َق َْ و َ امل ِ ﻐ ِ ﺎر ب he fell silent and motionless. A string of tears was raining down on his beard. Those people asked if he was crying out of fear of the One Who has sent him. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa replied, "Yes it is the fear of the One Who has sent me, on the straight path, a path straight as the edge of the sword, that makes me cry.
