Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 293 Hadrat ‘Umar ra was so enamoured with H u du r sa 's love that when H u du r sa passed away, he was not prepared to accept this fact due to excessive grief. He could not bear to think that the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa had actually died. He was announcing like a madman that whosoever said that the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa had passed away he would decapitate that person. This state of intense grief reflects Hadrat ‘Umar ra 's deep love and emotional attachment to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa. 10 The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa 's love for Hadrat ‘Uthm a n ra and Hadrat ‘Al i ra was also special. He married his two daughters to Hadrat ‘Uthm a n ra one after the other and said that if he had a third daughter he would give her hand in marriage to ‘Usm a n. 11 Regarding Hadrat ‘Al i ra the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said, "‘Al i is connected to me as H a r u n as was connected to M u s a as. " 12 He also said that if anyone wished to have relationship of love with him, would have to have a love relationship with ‘Al i as well. 13 Hadrat ‘Uthm a n ra and Hadrat ‘Al i ra also showed devotion to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa. On one hand Hadrat ‘Uthm a n ra earned the title of 'Ghan i ' by freely spending his wealth in the way of All a h and on the other the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa made him his representative at the truce of H udaibiyah.
