She came to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa one day and said she had an important matter to discuss and wanted to speak to H u du r sa in private. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa replied magnimously to this weak and mad woman, ‘O the mother of such a such person, which ever street or the passage way of Mad i nah you choose, I will sit with you there and listen to you and fulfill your need’. So that woman went and sat in a street. H u du r sa sat with her. The woman told him what she needed. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa did not move from that place until that woman was satisfied. 4 People, who are well versed in the history of that era, know the state of slaves and maids in that society. They were treated like cattle.
