Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 125 his sister's house. He spontaneously exclaimed, "How beautiful and elegant this discourse is?" After that he accepted Islam. 2 The well known chief of Quraish‘Utbah came to advise the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa on behalf of Quraish. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa recited the first few verses of S u rah Ha M i m. When H u du r sa recited the verses which included a Sajdah , he spontaneously fell in prostration with H u du r sa and said, "By God! This is not poetry, nor are those the words of a sooth sayer or magic. I swear by the name of God that I have listened to such discourse from Muhammad today, the like of which I have never heard before. " 3 The real glory of the Holy Qur’ a n was manifested when the Messenger of All a h recited its verses. God says: َ ّٰ ِ رَﺳُﻮل ٌ ﻣِّﻦ اﻟﻠ ﻛُﺘُﺐ ٌ ﻗَﻴِّﻤَﺔٌ. ﺻُﺤُﻔًﺎ ﻣُّﻄَﻬَّﺮَةً. ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ ﻳَﺘْﻠُﻮْا (98:3,4) "A Messenger from All a h recites scriptures purified. Therein are the everlasting teachings. " When the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa recited the beautiful verses of the Holy Qur’ a n, even God loved it. He says: َوَﻣَﺎ ُ ﺗ { ُ ِْﻮْن ٍىف ﺷَﺎْن وَّﻣَﺎ ُﺗَﺘْﻠُﻮْا ْﻣِﻨْﻪ ٰﻣِﻦ ٍ ﻗُﺮْا َن َوَّﻻ ْﺗَﻌْﻤَﻠُﻮْن ٍﻣِﻦ َّﻋَﻤَﻞ اِﻻ َﻛُﻨَّﺎ َﻠ ْ ُ ﻴ { ْ ﻢ ْﺷُﻬُﻮْدًا ِاِذ ْ ﺗُﻔ َ ﻴ ِﻀُﻮْن ْ ﻓ ِ ﻴ ﻪ.
