Hazrat Mirza ghulam AHmAD 74 ْ حُمْقُھُم َ ِ و ُنَاس ُ الْأ َات ی ْ عَمَا دَفَاھُم رَأَوْا مُد َّ قَوْم ٌ وَّالْمُدٰی قَد ْ شَھَّرُوْا The ignorance of the people disappointed my companions, Who found that the people of Mudh were at daggers drawn with them. ً َة ی ِ ِ دَر لِلرِّمَاح ٍّ بِمُد فَصَارُوْا ُ ُّ الْمُدَبِّر ْ عَلِي أَحْمَد َعْلَمُھَا ی َ و So, my friends had to face a ‘barrage of spears’ at Mudh, And Ahmad Ali, who chaired the event, is well-informed of this. ٍ ِّ سَاعَة ْ کُل ِ فِي ّٰ ُ الل َ ثَنَاء وَکَان ُ َ یُسْعِر ِ و َ الْفَسَاد ْرَان ی ِ ُ ن یُأَجِّج On the other hand, Sanaullah continued, To fuel the fire of mischief and disorder. ُ َلْب ُ مِثْلَه ك َنْبَح ُ الْ ی أَرٰی مَنْطِقًا مَا ُ َتَزَخَّر ی َ الْھَوٰی ِ کَان ْ قَلْبِه فِي َ و The statements he made were more virulent than the barking of a dog; Lowly passions overwhelmed his heart. ُ ُن ْ لَّه ك َ ی ْ وَإِن َّ لِسَان َ الْمَرْء ِ مَا لَم ُ َ مُشْعِر ِ ھُو عَوْرَاتِه ٌ عَلٰی أُصَاۃ And unless one’s tongue is backed by reason, It only betrays one’s hidden flaws. ْ ُ کُلُّھُم َ النَّاس َعْلَم ی ُ حَتّٰی م ِّ َل ك ُ ی ُ َتَبَصَّر ی َ ْ وَل َدْرِي ی َ ال َ ٌ ف جَھُوْل When a person of this kind speaks, everyone finds out, That he is ignorant with no sense and wisdom.
