141 ْ ُم ك ِ مَا أَفْلَح َ الْعُمْرَان ِ مِن ْ ضَرْب ِ لَعْن َ و ُ أَجْدَر َ فَمِثْلِي ْ لِھٰذَا اللَّعْن ِ أَحْرٰی و You did not spare even Ab u Bakr and Umar from your curses; So, a person like me is more deserving of such curses. ْ َتِي ی وَصِ ھٰذَا ِ َ اللَّعْن َ دَأْب ْدَك ی َ رُو ُ تُذَکَّر َا ی ْ مَّنَا مِن َا ی ُ الْوَصَا بَعْض َ و Discard the habit of cursing others, this is my advice for you; And, there are pieces of advice that one comes to remember at the time of one’s death. ُ خِفَاءُنَا ْن ی ِ َسْتَب ی ٌ ْ زَمَان َأْتِي ی َ و ُ َ تَتَبَصَّر ل َ و َ تَخْشٰی َ ل فَمَالَك The time is nigh when I will no longer be hidden and become manifest; What has become of you that you neither fear nor recog - nize the truth? ْ فَإِنَّهَا َ عِنْدِي َخْبَار ْأ ال َ تَذْکُرُوا ل َ و ُ َسَّر ك ِ تُ َبُوْت ك ْ ِ الْعَن ِ بَيْت کَجَلْدَۃ Do not quote before me mere traditions, For they are easily nullified like the abode of a spider. ٌ مَوْقِف َّ ٌ و ٍ مُّقَام َخْبَار ِأ ل أَنّٰي َ و ُ ٍ مُعَزَّر ْم ی ِ ٍ عَظ ِ فُرْقَان شَأْن لَدٰى How can the traditions survive before the Book, Which comprises the Holy Word of Allah, i. e. the Holy Quran? ُ َ تَقْف ُ أَمْرًا لَسْت َ تَعْرِف ُ سِرَّه ال فَ ُ مُتَھَوِّر َا ی ِ َ الْمَوْت ُ بَعْد فَتُسْأَل So do not follow that—the secret of which—is unknown to you; O audacious one! You will surely be held answerable after your death.
