137 ٍ ِ تِجَارَة َ مَال َّ مِثْل إِل أَنَا مَا َ و خُسِّرُوْا َ و ْدُوْا ی ِ أُب ْ کِبْرًا ْ رَدَّنِي فَمَن I am not but like the riches of trade; Those who rejected me earned loss and ruin. ْ َّ لِبُخْلِھِم ُ إِل َشْرَار ْأ َ ال ھَلَك مَا َ و تَنَمَّرُوْا َ و أَقْوَالَنَا فَھِمُوْا مَا َ و The mischief-makers were destroyed for their own parsimony; They did not seek to understand my words and demonstrated their animal fury. ً ً مَوْحُوْشَة ْ أَجْمَة ٌ تُضَاھِي قُلُوْب ُ تَتَنَفَّر ٍ وَحْشُھَا ِ إِنْس ْل ك ْ شَ فَمِن There are hearts that resemble the forests populated by wild beasts; And, wild beasts in those forests are averse to human faces. ْ زَمَانِنَا ْ فِي ٍ شَرُّھُم ُ أُنَاس ْر ی ِ کَب ُ َر ك أَمْ َ ٍ و ُ قَوْم ْطَان ی ْ شَ أَعْقَلُھُم َ و In this age of ours, great is he who is a great mischief-maker, And wise is he who is the biggest evil and the biggest deceiver among his people. مَن ْ کَان َ خَائِفًا َ َتَّقِي ْ مِنْهُم ْ و ی ْ فَمَن ُ أَنْظُر َّ ٍ و َّ آن ْ کُل ُ طَرْفِي أُقَلِّب Who among them is fearful of God and who is afraid of Him? I turn my eyes in all directions to find one. ٍ َح ٍ کَنَادِر ال ْھِم ْ ذُو ْ صَ ی مَن ْ کَان َ فِ َ و ُ َ یُوَقَّر ْ ل بَيْنَھُم ْبًا ی ِ َ غَر َان ك فَ And, he who will be possessed of some insight among them, Will be the poor fellow enjoying hardly any respect.
