~ 579 ~ Witness : O ye who believe! be strict in observing justice, and be wit- nesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or against your parents or kin- dred. Whether he, against whom witness is borne, be rich or poor, Allah is more re- gardful of them both than you are. Therefore follow not y our low desires that you may be able to act equitably. And if you hide the truth or evade it, then know that Allah is Well-Aware of what you do. 4:136 'Our Lord, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness. ' 3:54 And such of your women as are guilty of any flagrant impropriety—call to wit- ness four of you against them;…. 4:16 against them- selves, This day We shall put a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they had earned. 36:66 Allah bears witness, 'So Allah is now sufficient as a Witness between us and you.
