~ 303 ~ Justice : ‘ Adl , Equity, O ye who believe! be strict in observing justice, and be witnesses for Allah, even though it be against your- selves or against your par- ents or kindred. Whether he, against whom witness is borne, be rich or poor, Allah is more regardful of them both than you are. Therefore follow not your low desires that you may be able to act equitably…. 4:136 Allah enjoins ¬ , Verily, Allah commands you to give over the trusts to those entitled to them, and that, when you judge between men, you judge with justice…. . 4:59 …. And He enjoins you to deal equitably with the or- phans…. . 4:128. . . And when you speak, ob- serve justice, even if the person concerned be a rela- tive, and fulfill the cove- nant of Allah. That is what He enjoins upon you, that you may take care. ' 6:153 Verily, Allah enjoins jus- tice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred; and forbids inde- cency and manifest evil and transgression…. . 16:91
