~ 236 ~ Friends: Auliy a ’, Allah is friend, protector Waliyy , Allah is the Friend of those who believe; He b rings them out of all kinds of darkness into light. And those who disbelieve, their friends are the transgressors who bring them out of light into mani- fold darknesses … 2:258 do not make ¬ with, Let not the believers take disbelievers for friends in preference to believers-and whoever does that has no connection with Allah-ex- cept that you guard your- selves fully against them…. 3:29 O ye who believe! ' take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends of each other. And whoso among you takes them for friends is indeed one of them… 5:52 O ye who believe! take not your fathers and your broth- ers for friends if they prefer disbelief to faith…. 9:23 of Allah, Behold! the friends of Allah shall certainly have no fear, nor shall they grieve. 10:63 Fuel: But if you do it not - and never shall you do it - then guard against the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, which is prepared for the disbelievers. 2:25
