Say, 'It is Al- lah alone Who originates creation and then repro- duces it… 10:35 The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely Messengers like unto him had passed away before him… 5:76 They indeed have disbe- lieved who say, 'Surely, Al- lah—He is the Messiah, son of Mary. ' Say, 'Who then has any power against Al- lah, if He desired to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother and all those that are in the earth?' And to Allah belongs the King- dom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He creates what He pleases and Allah has power over all things. 5:18 And when Allah will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men, 'Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah?"' He will answer, "Holy art Thou, I could never
